Big thank you to the guys at Direct Music Service
for having me as this week’s guest for their weekly mini mix series. The one thing that I love about DMS is the fact that they upload quality music that many other pools overlook. Furthermore, they put together a ton of edits that many DJs like myself find very useful.

For my mix I decided to put together some of my favorite indie dance jams that I seldom get to play live. I love this genre because it has the funk of disco, the power of EDM and the vocals of pop and rock. So check out the mini mix comprised of funky beats and some skratching.

New Music: Let me introduce…Shoe Scene Symphony

For the past five months, my friend dj antidote and I have been working on this new project that we call, Shoe Scene Symphony. Our goal is to touch as many dance floors as we can with our style of house music. To get a taste of our sound, please check out our first two tracks.

Wild Ones (Shoe Scene Symphony remix) – Sia

We decided to remix this popular song by Flo Rida and Sia. We loved Sia’s vocals and built this track around her voice. The result is a groovy progressive house song with nice melodies mixed with Sia’s vocals.

 

The Innovator (Original Mix) – Shoe Scene Symphony

The Innovator is our first original release. The track is a mixture of various house styles that we like. You’ll hear a nice melodic breakdown – followed by a glitchy electro drop.
